Warmest greetings from Singapore Nanyang Technological University Maritime Business Society!

Ever since its establishment in 2011, NTU Maritime Business Society has committed itself to providing a platform for all NTU students to network and expand their knowledge about the maritime sector. As you navigate around our website, we hope that you will gain a better understanding of the 7 departments in Maritime Business Society and the events that we hold. 

Our committee recognizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaborations in a globalized world. Hence, the 14th committee aims to build strong relationships with other student organizations in the University. In the coming months, we are excited to be hosting a joint event on waste awareness with the Civil and Environmental Engineering Club. We are also actively exploring collaborative opportunities with the International Trading Club. We believe that our students can gain a more holistic and meaningful experience through discussions and exchange of insights with other disciplines during these events.

The volatile Covid-19 situation in the past years has significantly changed the way Maritime Business Society operates. Despite the challenging circumstances, we were able to execute our plans and achieve our aims with the unwavering support of the University and our stakeholders from the industry. Even though virtual events will remain the norm for the foreseeable future, we will build on the foundation laid by our predecessors to provide valuable opportunities that support our students to excel in the maritime sector.

The road ahead for Maritime Business Society is an exciting one. I am heartened to be working with a committee of dedicated individuals committed to executing events that are aligned with the larger landscape of Maritime Singapore.
